Digging Wells
Imagine waking up in the morning and going to your sink to brush your teeth to find that there is no water. You go outside to the only water source within miles of your home. A hole with black water, due to dirt falling into the water, the smell is almost too much to handle, and this is your water. For many this is the case, all that it will take is a well and these people’s lives will be changed.

God has placed a burden in our hearts to help the people in Ghana and Nigeria receive clean safe drinking water. This year we would like to see 14 wells dug. This isn’t something that we can do by ourselves, so we are asking that you prayerfully consider being a part of this endeavor. Each well will cost approximately $6000 each to dig, but what a blessing it will be to the people who will finally be able to drink pure  water.
Community Outreach
In the village of Dambai, East Krachi the only source of water that the people have available to them is River Oti. This river feeds into the Volta Lake which is very contaminated. The people of Dambai have become so use to using this water for all of their needs that it is common to see children bathing within feet of someone washing their vehicle and another person may be drinking the water.
Children are sent to the river to get water for the daily washing and cooking. One child that we saw was at the river washing a cow head to sell at the market with his brother. After washing the meat he took a few steps out into the river and washed his face and then drank some of the water. It was very surprising to watch this same child then blow his nose into the water.
